DENU was born in the winter of 2020, in Tehran, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. What started as a simple idea: help local businesses present their offerings without a printed menu, which quickly grew into a complete digital menu platform.
We saw business owners struggling with costly reprints, no way to update their content quickly, and the urgent need for safer, contactless customer experiences. So we built DENU: a free, easy-to-use platform to create beautiful digital menus in minutes, with no technical skills required.
What began as a solution for restaurants has grown into something much bigger. Today, DENU serves over 10,000 businesses of all types, from hotels and spas to retail stores and food trucks, while keeping the core platform completely free.

After years of developing DENU while based in Tehran, our team has spread across different countries. This gave us fresh perspectives and drove us to build a more globally compatible product. DENU v2 features a completely redesigned interface, improved performance, Google Places import, and support for over 21 business types.
